AmazonSmile, a program launched in 2013 to support charities, will be winding down by February 20, 2023 due to limited impact. The company plans to redirect its efforts towards initiatives that can create more meaningful change, such as building affordable housing and providing computer science education to underprivileged students, as well as assisting communities affected by natural disasters.
Have you heard of smile.amazon.com? It is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com.
The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.

Amazon Shopping App
You can also support us using your iPhone or Android phone with the Amazon Shopping app too. Turn on AmazonSmile on mobile by finding the ‘Settings’ in the main menu. Tap on ‘AmazonSmile’ and follow the on-screen instructions.
AmazonSmile renewal happens twice a year in the app. Check your current status or view the next renewal period by opening the Amazon Shopping app on your phone. Choose ‘Settings’ in the main menu and choose ‘AmazonSmile’ to see if it’s turned ON.

Amazon Shopping Lists
Once you’re set up with AmazonSmile, you can also browse the Sewing Team Needs or Needs for Kennedy’s Angel Gowns lists to purchase items. Add any one or more of the items to your cart and purchase as normal. The order will be automatically shipped directly to us.
