Angel Box Sew-In
Create handmade items for infant burial kits
Sign-up is required in order to attend.
No sewing experience is required. We will teach you how to cut patterns and show to sew an angel gown. If sewing isn’t your interest, we will teach you how to deconstruct and process a donated wedding gown.
We also share how to make Baby & Me bracelets for our Angel Box. This is a great opportunity for kids (age 13 & up) to volunteer with an adult. Supplies are provided; small beads are a choking hazard.
Supplies are provided, but if you have your own sewing machine, serger, serger, fabric scissors, and crochet supplies, you can bring them.
We always appreciate an extra hand afterward to help clean up, vacuum, and return the space to its original condition when we’re done.
Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Water bottles and individual serving bags of chips or crackers will be available.
Volunteer Hours: 1-4 hours
Sign Up Required – Limited space
Facemask required
