January Sew-In for Infant Burial Gowns
Work alongside our sewing team to create an “angel gown” for families who faced a pregnancy or infant loss. No sewing experience needed—we show you how to cut patterns, deconstruct and process a donated wedding gown, and more.
If you’re crafty at heart, you will enjoy creating the Baby & Me bracelets we make for bereaved parents. This is a great opportunity for kids to volunteer. Supplies are provided.
Do you enjoy cleaning up? Help the team load supplies, vacuum, and clean up the space when we’re done. Show up by noon to help us get started!
Childcare volunteer: Age 16+ watch over any young children for the parents attending. Please get your ticket and we will follow-up with you!
Lunch RSVP: Pizza and/or salad
Thank you for volunteering your time that supports bereaved families across Hampton Roads and beyond. Your hands are needed to place infant burial gowns and keepsakes in their hands.
Volunteer Hours: 1 hour minimum requested (or as long as you like)
Please get a RSVP ticket for each person attending. It will be used for quick and easy check-in when you arrive.
If you would like to officially volunteer on the sewing team, apply online any time.
