Black Maternal Health Week Event

This is a moment to amplify those black mamas’ voices!

Join the EVMS Healthy Start Loving Steps program as we celebrate Black Maternal Health Week. Connect with mothers in the community to create personal paintings with affirmations of Motherhood, enjoy refreshments, prizes, and more.

Children are welcome to this event as there will be special activities for kids ages one and up.

The officially recognized Black Maternal Health Week takes place every April 11 – 17. It is an initiative to advance health equity across the country on behalf of all racial and ethnic minorities.
