Kennedy’s Angel Gowns featured on Virginia Currents TV
We are so excited to announce that Kennedy’s Angel Gowns has an Emmy® nominated feature documentary story that airs on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 8 pm on VPM/PBS. You may view the episode online starting October 27 (updated: or watch below) – just in time for Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month!
This segment was made possible in large part by the dedicated volunteers who help make the infant burial garments. You’ll meet select members of our sewing team that gathered for this special recording and hear their stories. Delicate last moments with their daughter Kennedy Milan Wilson are shared by our founders Heather & Demitri Wilson. The segment also takes the viewer back to how the organization was created and the direction it is going.

Special thanks to Kristen E. Lindo for producing this Emmy® nominated segment and giving Kennedy’s Angel Gowns the platform to further bring awareness to pregnancy and infant loss.
We would love for you to share this post and comment on what you thought of the Virginia Currents segment!
We receive numerous wedding gown donations and questions about donating them. They are used to sew the infant burial gowns (aka angel gowns) we provide for free; however, there are other ways to support Kennedy’s Angel Gowns. It is equally important to learn more about us, discover different ways to get involved and consider setting up a small recurring donation online. Your help makes it possible for us to serve bereaved families and support hospitals with equipment to help hundreds more.
